DEAF MENTOR PROGRAMS AND/OR FAMILY SERVICES BY STATE:
SKI HI (www.deaf-mentor.skihi.org) is an evidence-based, family-centric deaf mentoring program. SKI HI was implemented through the support of the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs within the U.S. Department of Education. The program was founded in 1991 and has been revised to meet current needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing children and families. SKI Hi is offered and available in several states. Check the link to see if your state has this program. If not, you may reach out to them.
Other link that services multiple states are National Association of the Deaf- Education Advocates.
